Originally built in 1927 by Henry Neville, the 7th Lord Braybrooke of the Audley End Estate, Conkers is a distinguished family home that boasts rich local heritage. It is believed that the house was carefully positioned to enjoy uninterrupted views of the magnificent 12th-century St Mary’s Church—the largest non-cathedral church in Essex. The property still captures glimpses of this historic landmark from its upper floor and balcony.

Since acquiring the home six years ago, the current owners have undertaken a significant and stylish renovation. They have extended and enhanced the property to suit modern family life while retaining its character.

The highlight for me of course was throwing a ball for the family Collie who was very happy that I keep dog treats in my camera bag.
